Tokyo, May 12, 2021 — AI inside Inc., a provider of an AI platform, announces today (informal) appointments of three senior leaders: Yoshiaki Sakito, Executive Director; Kenichi Hoshi, Non-Executive Director; Kyoichiro Suzuki, Adviser. The addition of these three members to our leadership accelerates the achievement of our AI platform strategy to provide a high-value platform.*

*At the 6th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders to be held in June 2021, Yoshiaki will be nominated as a candidate for a new Executive Director and Kenichi will be nominated as a candidate for a new Non-Executive Director.

Yoshiaki’s Profile

After working for Sony, Bain & Company, The Walt Disney Company, and AOL, Yoshiaki founded Livedoor. Steve Jobs entrusted him with the Japanese market, and he became Vice President of Apple’s U.S. headquarters and Representative Director of Apple Japan. With his unique marketing approach, he led the iPod mini to become a huge hit and revived Apple from the crisis. Yoshiaki was the only Japanese to attend the Executive Meeting at the U.S. headquarters. He is currently the CEO of REALDEAR and is involved in the development of a learning platform and consulting.

Kenichi’s Profile

Kenichi joined the JUKI group in 1989 and worked in the Soviet Union, India, Singapore, and worked as Managing Director of the companies in Romania and France. From 2005, he was responsible as Managing Director for the Thai subsidiary of Misumi group. In 2008, he joined Amazon Japan G.K., where he served as Director, leading the Retail, Marketplace, and B2B divisions, and was a member of the leadership (management) team during the company’s early days and into its growth phase. Currently, he is the President of kenhoshi&Company, COO of Oisix ra daichi, Inc and an outside director of other two companies. Author of a book “amazon’s absolute thinking”.

Kyoichiro’s Profile

For 13 years from 1991, Kyoichiro led and supervised software product development at start-ups and listed companies in and around Silicon Valley. After returning to Japan in 2004, he joined Microsoft Corporation (now Microsoft Japan). He served as Executive Officer of Developer & Platform Evangelism, Chief Information Officer for Asia and Japan, and General Manager of IT Division at the U.S. HQ. In 2013, he left Microsoft and founded Leftright Corporation, which provides intellectual property management consulting and innovation support. He is licensed as a patent and trademark attorney in Japan.
