Tokyo, June 12, 2023 –  AI inside Inc., which promotes the democratization of AI by providing AI infrastructure, has announced the launch of “AnyData,” a multimodal AI integration platform including all the data, learning, and operating foundations demanded for AI development and implementation. This enables high value-added AI implementation that contributes to solving business issues, with the customers only required to prepare the data.

“Inside X,” established along with “AnyData,” is an AI implementation consulting team for upper management that has brought together professionals with a deep understanding of AI technology and its commercialization. The team provides comprehensive support utilizing “AnyData,” generative AI, and LLM to realize essential DX and data-driven management- from discovering potential business issues that benefit management activities, assessment, conceptualization, and requirement definition of AI technologies, to actual AI operations.

Background of Launch

In social activities of all kinds, data of various types and formats, such as documents, images, videos, audio, and numerical data, are exchanged and accumulated daily. While many companies and organizations are focusing on the DX to innovate their businesses through this data, the reality is that many of them have only improved operational efficiency in specific departments; essential DX is demanded to solve social issues through company-wide optimization and new business creation. Although companies have launched and promoted internal AI projects to achieve this, the actual implementations of AI have not been realized due to the lack of progress from the PoC (Proof of Concept) phase, in which verification is conducted to determine whether AI can be applied in workplaces.

For the successful implementation and continuous operation of AI that contributes to company-wide optimization and new business creation, it is necessary to construct systems that centrally manage the data that has been dispersed through the diversity of IT tools and make advanced decisions with understanding and organization of increasingly complex internal and external business environments. About “AnyData”

AI inside has launched “AnyData,” a multimodal AI integration platform. “AnyData” includes all the basic functionalities required for the development and implementation of AI; the “data foundation” that centralizes the management of structured and unstructured data and generates data marts^*1, the “learning foundation” for data preprocessing and developing and evaluating of new AI models, and the “operation foundation” that enables high-quality and secure AI operations including performance monitoring and data governance. By making each foundation work together, AI can be maintained in real-time after the implementation, which allows proper management of AI lifecycles^*2 and AI operations with continuous improvements.

The “AnyData” users do not have to have advanced knowledge or skill in AI and IT. All they need to do is prepare the data, which enables them to implement AI into their business, focusing on their primary functions, such as business growth or solving societal issues.

It is noted that the “learning foundation” is an integrated version of the “Learning Center,” a no-code AI development and operation tool that AI inside has provided to date. It will continue to be provided as a functionality of “AnyData.”

Future Development

AI inside plans to mass-produce and sell generic AI solutions that can be immediately implemented in businesses regardless of the company’s size by developing AI models in collaboration with partner companies utilizing the “learning foundation” of “AnyData.”

We are also working on R&D of “Autonomous AI,” which autonomously interconnects each foundation included in “AnyData” to automatically generate new AI models that contribute to solving customers’ business issues. Worked for a foreign consulting firm providing various consulting services related to company-risk management, including internal audits of operational and financial processes for multiple industries such as financial institutions, healthcare companies, and general trading companies. Joined aiforce solutions Inc. as Director and COO after working as Director and General Manager of the Corporate Planning Division of a business company, and achieved AI implementation that contributes to business mainly in manufacturing, distribution, retail, and other industries, including major consumer electronics manufacturers. Started working at AI inside in May 2022 due to an absorption merger. Has trained a total of more than 10,000 business personnel in AI and also supports DX internalization.

Kunie Endo

Joined Fujitsu as a new graduate and experienced various new business divisions based on data utilization technology. Involved in big data and AI since 2010 and is engaged in new service planning, evangelist activities, and implementation consulting. Joined AI inside in July 2022 after working for RPA Technologies, Inc. and IBM Japan, Ltd.
