AI inside Launches the Official version of the AI agent “Heylix”

With Five Additional Features, Including Chatbot Generator for Supporting New Value Creation Through Collaboration Between Humans and AI

Tokyo, October 23, 2023 –  AI inside Inc., a provider of an AI platform, announces the launch of the official version of the AI agent “Heylix” as of October 23, 2023. AI agent is an versatile AI that work together with humans as partnersーand among them, “Heylix” assists the users even with complex tasks by leveraging multiple technologies such as generative, predictive, and cognitive AI. Since it can be used immediately after the service contract, business implementation can be done without the time-consuming and financially costly process, namely providing data to vendors, training, PoC, and system implementation required for conventional AI implementation.

The official version has five new features, including the dynamic UI and chatbot generator, which provides a more advanced generative AI utilization experience. Launching the “Heylix” official version will accelerate the DX for all companies and organizations.

About the “Heylix” official version

Since the launch of the “Heylix” closed beta version on August 3, 2023, AI inside has conducted demonstration experiments with companies mainly in the finance and manufacturing industries, as well as verifying the value through the “DX Suite” and “AnyData” user communities. We have made a number of updates based on the VoC (Voice of the Customer) collected through these efforts and are now ready to provide an official version of the service.

Basic features

1. Generating and utilizing “Buddies” that support business operations as human partners

The user only needs to give instructions to “Heylix” as if communicating with other people, and “Heylix” will instantly generate “Buddies” that autonomously perform tasks by combining technologies such as generative, predictive, and cognitive AI. With the support of the “Buddies,” the users will be able to achieve advanced DX for each business.

2. Sharing “Buddies” with other users

The generated “Buddies” can be shared among users. Users who have no idea how to use them or are struggling to give instructions to “Heylix” can use the existing “Buddies” generated by other users. With the network effect, the more “Buddies” there are, the easier it would be for users to find and use existing “Buddies” that can solve their business problems, increasing the benefits to the users as a whole.

New features

1. Generating and utilizing chatbot “Buddies”

Users can now generate and utilize chatbot “Buddies” that instantly answer questions on the content of documents in a few dozen seconds by simply uploading the documents to “Heylix.” This means that new knowledge can be added to “Heylix” without additional training on LLM. 

For example, a customer success representative can upload an answer guide to generate a chatbot “Buddy” and have this chatbot “Buddy” provide a list of possible responses just by asking it a question. 

It is also possible to generate a chatbot “Buddy” that functions as an enterprise search engine, enabling cross-search of a vast amount of information.

2. Dynamic UI

Because “Buddies” can perform tasks in a generic manner, the best UI for each specific task depends on what is being performed. When using “Heylix,” an optimized operating screen can be automatically selected and displayed based on the features of each “Buddy.” For instance, the user would see a screen to upload the document necessary to perform the task when using a “Buddy” to structure the information on the document. When using a chatbot “Buddy,” on the other hand, the user would see a dialogue-style operating screen that alternates between questions and answers, making it possible to communicate with the “Buddy” in a more intuitive way.

3. Uploading and processing files in various formats

Users can upload texts and Microsoft Word, PDF, JPEG, Markdown (.md), and other files. This enables the users to interact with the “Buddies” without having to process the documents used in their daily work. It allows the “Buddies” to be integrated into the business process without discomfort.

4. Simultaneous uploading and processing of multiple files

Multiple files can be uploaded and processed simultaneously as long as they are in the same format. This allows users to cross-reference the information separated into various materials and create new values through summary and analysis.

5. Searching for “Buddies”

The more often “Heylix” is used, the more “Buddies” it will have. With an additional search functionality for selecting the necessary “Buddy,” it provides even better usability.

Future development

AI inside will continue enhancing the functionalities of “Heylix” while increasing the number of “Buddies” by providing and supporting the use of “Heylix,” especially for enterprise companies in the banking, insurance, manufacturing, and distribution industries.
