AI inside Appoints New CIO, to Reinforce IT Governance and Build Solid Corporate Foundation to Contribute to Business Growth

Tokyo, September 30, 2022–  AI inside Inc., a provider of an AI platform with the mission of “to bring AI to every being in the world and contribute to a richer future society,” announces that Kyoichiro Suzuki, former CIO (Chief Information Officer) in charge of Japan and Asia at Microsoft Corporation (now Microsoft Japan) has been appointed Executive Officer and CIO of AI inside as of October 1, 2022. The appointment of the new CIO will enable AI inside to further strengthen and enhance its management system by reinforcing its IT governance and building a solid corporate foundation to contribute to further business growth.

During my first year as an advisor here at AI inside, as I supported various aspects of management, I have come to empathize with the grand vision promoted by the company and feel the possibility of transforming society as a platform provider. As CIO, I will encourage the strengthening of the organization by utilizing my experience and further enhancing my desire to play a role in achieving the vision of AI inside. For the company to become the number one provider of AI platforms in the world, we need a scalable IT infrastructure to support rapid growth and a corporate foundation that enables us to expand our business in an agile manner. Profile

For 13 years from 1991, Kyoichiro led and supervised software product development at start-ups and listed companies in and around Silicon Valley. After returning to Japan in 2004, he joined Microsoft Corporation (now Microsoft Japan). He served as Executive Officer of Developer & Platform Evangelism, Chief Information Officer for Japan and Japan, and General Manager of IT Division at the U.S. HQ. In 2013, he left Microsoft and founded Leftright Corporation, which provides intellectual property management consulting and innovation support.
