AI inside Appoints New CESO, to Strengthen Support of Business Transformation in Enterprise Corporations through AI

Tokyo, December 1, 2022- AI inside Inc., which promotes the democratization of AI by providing AI infrastructure, announces the appointment of Kazutoshi Okada as Executive Officer and CESO (Chief Enterprise Strategy Officer) of AI inside as of December 1, 2022. Okada is known for popularizing the “IBM Watson” computer system as an Executive Officer at  IBM Japan, Ltd. With the appointment of the new CESO, AI inside will enhance support to enterprise corporations in their business transformation efforts using AI.

With the accelerating digital transformation (DX) in companies and cross-company partnerships, a society where people and AI coexist has arrived. “Seeing a world where AI and computers replace mechanical jobs, and human beings can focus on interacting with one another” is the desire that has strengthened my involvement in the AI business over the years. Companies and organizations in many fields, from finance and manufacturing to local government and education, can improve their time performance by using AI, which will make Japan globally competitive. Achieving this will require innovation in infrastructure and AI model intelligence, creating high-added value.

Profile

After graduating from university, he started his career as a system engineer and started his own system development company in his 20s. Later on, he held executive positions at EDS JAPAN, Japan Systems, and Hewlett Packard Japan. After becoming an Executive Officer at IBM Japan in 2013, he was in charge of insurance and partner business and spread “IBM Watson” to the financial industry and over 500 IT companies nationwide. Appointed as CESO (Chief Enterprise Strategy Officer) of AI inside in December 2022.
